The student research project with the title "Production of fast growing tree species for energy recovery" is based on the "Concept for an economical and sustainable production of biomass in an urban landscape using the example of Warndt".

A second student research paper is concerned with the characterization of the formation and degradation of fens, with special focus on the re-wetting of low moors. Therefore the possible application of further purified waste water has been evaluated.
